OneNumber Connectivity Plans
A OneNumber Connectivity Plan lets you share the data, minutes and messages from your phone’s plan with your smartwatch or tablet. Plans are £7.50 for smartwatch and £15 a month for tablet. Connect both and save £3.50 a month – with OneNumber Bundle.
Why get OneNumber?
Share allowances
Use your phone's allowances on multiple devices from just £7.50 a month.
Flexibility of location
Left your phone at home? No worries – you'll stay connected even without it.
Simple connectivity
You'll always have a secure, private connection using your phone's data allowance.
Improved device battery
Sharing data with OneNumber uses less of your phone's battery life compared to hotspotting.
How do I get OneNumber?
To get a OneNumber Connectivity Plan you need a Vodafone Pay monthly Airtime Plan, and a smartwatch or tablet that’s cellular enabled.
Bought your smartwatch or tablet from us?
Your smartwatch comes with a OneNumber plan already – activate it now. Your tablet comes with a data plan already, so you don’t need OneNumber.

Frequently asked questions
A OneNumber Connectivity Plan lets you share your mobile plan’s allowance of data and airtime on a secondary device – this will be your smartwatch or tablet.
The moment you get out of range of your phone, your device automatically switches from Bluetooth to a direct connection to our data network.
This means you can continue to connect to the internet, and receive calls and messages – even when you're not near your phone.
Find out more about how OneNumber works across your devices
If you have an Apple Watch: Apple Watches can’t roam independently of your phone abroad. You can still use your smartwatch abroad as normal if it's in range of your paired phone and your phone is set up for international roaming.
If you have any other type of cellular smartwatch, iPad or tablet: You can use this device just as you do in the UK. Any out-of-plan charges will show as a single roaming charge across all your devices.
If you want to stop paying for Vodafone OneNumber and disconnect your device(s), you need to cancel the service. To do this, get in touch on 191 (free from a Vodafone mobile), or on 03333 040 191 from any other UK landline or mobile.
If you change your phone number, you’ll need to ring us to get your OneNumber device relinked to it.
Making a call
Any outgoing calls will only show in the call history of the device you made the call from. So if you called from your smartwatch, your call would show in your smartwatch’s call log but not on your phone.
Making emergency calls
You can make emergency calls on your secondary devices. Be aware that the emergency services contact centre will be presented with the ID of your secondary device – this may cause confusion if this number is read back to you by the operator as it isn’t the same as your phone number.
If the emergency operator needs to call you back, all of your secondary devices that have a OneNumber plan will ring.
You can find the ID of your secondary device in the plan details on your My Vodafone app.
Receiving a call
Any incoming calls will only show in the call history of the device you took the call on. So, if you answered a call on your tablet the call would show in the tablet’s call log.
Missing a call
Any missed calls will show up on all of your devices.
Sending MMS
Unfortunately, the multi-device technology that supports Vodafone OneNumber doesn’t allow for MMS picture messages to be sent. You can still send and receive pictures and videos using third-party applications and iMessage.
When you set up a secondary device like a smartwatch or tablet on a OneNumber plan, it will also have any bars and services that you have on your phone.
If you already had bars on your secondary device, these will be overwritten by the bars on your phone. Any new bars that are added will then be applied to all devices on your account.
Because these bars are set at account level, you can’t have different bars on different devices. For example, you can't bar your smartwatch or tablet from being able to make international calls without barring your phone too. The only exception is the lost or stolen bar, which is only applied to the SIM that's reported missing.
Your watch must be a cellular model (not a WiFi-only model) to share your plan. OneNumber works with the following models and their newer generations:
Apple
Apple Watch Series 3 cellular and above
Samsung
Samsung Galaxy Watch 4G and above
Google Pixel Watch
OPPO
OPPO Watch
Other smartwatches
Montblanc Summit 2+ (LTE version)
Mobvoi TicWatch Pro 3 LTE
OneNumber only works with tablets that are eSIM enabled. If you’re not sure if your tablet is eSIM enabled, check in your device settings or with your manufacturer.
If your tablet uses a physical SIM card, you can’t use OneNumber, but you can connect to our award-winning network with a data-only SIM
Unfortunately, iPads can’t receive calls and texts - but don't worry, you can still use your phone's data allowance on these devices.
